19. What is the advantage compared to traditional systems
for technical analyses?
Trading systems generated by an analyst - a human being- are fraught with
some fundamental problems:
- The horizon and the dimensionality of the model
are very limited. We cannot know what we do not see. Normally, we see too
little and overlook too much. NeuroStrategy can act in a much more
complex way. The system sees what information is available and it only sees
what is actually there.
- In systems developed by human beings, biases and psychological effects
play a significant role. NeuroStrategy works in a completely unbiased way.
It only uses those indicators from a large supply
of analysis results, which in fact contain meaningful information.
- The system is forced to concentrate on the actual goal of achieving a
uniform increase in equity. While human beings normally proceed in steps
(analysis - prediction - strategy - test), NeuroStrategy must solve the
problem as a complex of problems, a procedure that corresponds
much better to reality.
